Re: He IS one of the pioneering io-docs...EDIT
...bless him, I'll always be grateful to him, Abrahams, Fleschas, Derry, Blaylock, etc.
I'm MORE grateful though, to CZ. We've got a brain-trust here that can't be beat. That includes EVERYBODY.
We're lucky in that with our diverging viewpoints we're not stuck trying to prove a direct causal relationship. Yeah, bromide's a huge part of it, but it's simplistic to narrow it down like that. Brownstein knows better than that, too, so I wonder why he is simplifying it. I guess maybe to market to the masses, it's a complicated thing, supping iodine, not for the lazy or unwilling to learn for themselves.
Breast cancer choices is also leaning on the bromide-dominance thing, heavily.
If anyone reads through this forum they will see that many of our posts have gotten a HUGE number of hits. I KNOW that many people have benefited from what we do here, and that includes medical researchers. The owner of
Breast Cancer choices has said as much, I'd link the post but I don't want to divulge her posting name.
Here it is, 3rd-hand, from the
Iodine debate forum

"..This email was following the idea about getting this out onto Oprah from the
Breast Cancer folks:
I'm thrilled to see you have benefited to profoundly with
Iodine supplementation and share you goal to spread the information about iodine's value. We are big fans of the Curezone
Iodine Forum and recognize what a superb brain trust they have going. Here are my thoughts..."
I have found, in my research, blog posts that were directly lifted from V's posts.
I have no doubt that we have contributed greatly to this subject. In fact, we are the BEST resource, because we're not "stuck" attempting to sell absolutes.
I also know that we don't get any credit, or thanks, except from our forum-folk. fine with me:)
We do owe Brownstein, and the rest of them though. Good for him:)(and them). ESPECIALLY ABRAHAMS! He's such a great writer:)
EDIT...
Also got to add that the original owner of the iodine group, Zoe, did an absolutely tremendous job putting that site together. It's a treasure-trove of good info. I don't see her name mentioned much any more, dunno what she's up to, but she deserves lotsa good karma points for that.
