Re: Panic/Anxiety disorder for years caused by Candida
be careful with what you read on the net... because over half contains falsehoods. Here is an example...
50% of all heart attacks happen to people with high cholesterol. When this was realized the medical profession decided to start treating people for high cholesterol to prevent heart attacks... especially with medication.
Now if 50% of heart attacks happen to people with high cholesterol, then the half of heart attacks happen to people with low cholesterol. So this means that the data that says high cholesterol contributes to heart attacks is very erronious. So people are taking potentially harmful medication based on a very flawed theory.
Now this can work in the reverse... avoiding meat that contains chemicals because you believe they could be harmful can be very flawed. The reason being is that many people eat these meats, and are perfectly fine. If 20% of people are adversely affected by eating this meat, and 80% are not... then there is something else at play. For a theory to be 100% accurate, 100% of all cases must exhibit the same pattern. It could be that the body is perfectly capable of handling all the excess hormones,
Antibiotics , and such. I have seen people live off of fast food, and are in perfect health. There is also the mental aspect that if you believe something is bad for you, you will recieve adverse reactions to it.
Now I am not suggesting you eat corn raised meat full of
Antibiotics and steroids. I am suggesting though that not everything is as it seems. And before you follow a theory, you should research how and why. Study the data... and see if it is erronious.
I do recommend a couple diets to try out. The simple carbohydrate diet (SC diet). And the 80/10/10 diet. I suggest you listen to your own body and see what works for you. These diets may not heal you, but they may take off some fo the stress you are realizing in your afflictions right now. I also suggest you avoid fried foods, and look up food combining. Avoid processed foods for awhile, and see how that goes. The less processed something is, the easier on the body it seems to be.
It looks like you have some reading to do... and many here will also give you some good advice if you have any questions. But like I mentioned earlier... watch your step, because there is alot of b.s. out there. I cannot stress this enough.
