Re: help!! can colon hydrotherapy be dangerous? I'm worried...

Hi there,

I've had several colonics. My therapist told me to release when "I felt like it" and I never held the water longer than felt comfortable. colonics are unlike an enema where u take in a finite amount and the water stops flowing. As you know, with colonics, unless you turn off the tap, the just water keeps flowing... So my question is, how uncomfortable did you allow yourself to become because maybe you should have released earlier? Its only a guess but the bleeding is obviously a concern for sure and I just wonder whether holding on for too long with too much inside has caused a rupture. I do not mean to cause alarm but its something to think about. It was something my therapist mentioned several times - hold for as long as you feel is right and when you have the urge to push, then push. Hopefully you aren't bleeding too much? Do you have a good doctor? I would definitely have someone look at you if the bleeding continues. So sorry your experience was so awful. Good luck.
