RO or distilled

Hi everyone,
I am a first time poster on this forum but have read allot on this forum and others as well. We just moved and gave away our RO. I have been buying bottled but wanted to buy a distiller. After much research I started wondering if maybe I should just get a 4 stage RO with a deonizer since my kids aren't drinking the bottled water like they were when they got it from the fridge dispenser.(We can hook the RO up through the fridge dispenser but not the distilled) So we were thinking with a distiller they would be drinking it from the water jugs the same as now but if we got a RO they would drink more like before,plus they have said they like it better from the fridge.

Also my hubby says the water quality from a 4 stage RO is pure as he does reef tanks for a hobby and you need high qualty water with out contaments and he used it in the past for tanks and got good PH readings. Its not that I don't belive him but MH and others are always bashing RO and the health authers like CLark do as well so I am torn.
I respect what you say as you aren't selling something like MH also if I asked him that he would bash me with some rude cow/sheep rant like I have often seen done if someone disagrees or asks a dumb question. I just was wondering what you or others thought here as I hadn't seen much water discussions here.
