Re: Some of you have brought up some excellent concerns

"But I fear that somehow you will be led away from your pure and simple devotion to Christ, just as Eve was deceived by the serpent. You seem to believe whatever anyone tells you, even if they preach about a different Jesus than the one we preach, or a different Spirit than the one you received, or a different kind of gospel than the one you believed." 2 Corinthians 11"3-4. (NLT)

Does it say that you will lose your salvation because of this?  Is the person who is deceived intentionally doing what they are doing because they don't want to follow Jesus anymore?

"That is why I said that you will die in your sins; for unless you believe that I am who I say I am, you will die in your sins." John 8:24 (NLT)

Sure and that is why we need a savior.  I think you can lose your savation but it is hard.

Modern churches are kind of an enigma too me.  Look at how many denominations there are branched off of Christianity.  Then you have powers who have used parts of Christianity to manipulate people into serving another agenda.  The unsaved like to point to the example of the crusades in order to dismiss Christianity.  I think this is nothing more than an escape hatch because their hearts don't want anything to do with it.  I believe it is possible to use other religions or religious concepts to manipulate the masses.  Hitler did it and he used something from evolution.
