From reading your story, it sounds like you don't have any children together. I bring this up because if that's the case, then moving on is much simpler. Take the time to get your affairs in order. Put some money aside (without telling him, of course)so you can make a fresh start and, also, consult with a lawyer. Given how he treats you, it's long past time for you to move one. If you find that you're having some difficulty mustering up the courage to do so, then call a domestic abuse hotline for some help. You really shouldn't have to put up with any of this! Tweet
