Re: Jamie’s Olivers food fuels pupils’ brain power

I had to do a one day clinical session in a day care center. I just about THREW UP when I saw what the kids were eating for breakfast. YUCK. I'm not condemning meat per se because I ate bacon and eggs when I was young but it was home cooked, high quality stuff not stuff that looks like fast food rejects. My mother also made us porridge, horlick's tea, etc. I wonder if the kids get any fresh foods. One child had a fresh, organic box lunch. The mother was very health conscious. Everything was organic, even down to the water bottle, a swiss steel water bottle.

Don't get me started with nursing home food :(
