Re: Help! Major viral infection + herpes

Hello Waves.of.air,

You may be able to find relief simply by taking a few baths...

If you can figure out the liters of water to fill your bath tub up to your waist with you in it, you can then add some chlorine dioxide to the water and soak in it. Chlorine dioxide kills by having a concentration in contact with the pathogen for an amount of time. This is referred to as the CT value.

Most viruses have a CT value of around 5000 in the petri dish, so you can start there.

While soaking in the bath, the chlorine dioxide will work its way up your urethra, hopefully to the infection site. Unfortunately, there are no studies on this, so it comes down to your "best guess."

For example: If your skin can handle a chlorine dioxide concentration of 100 PPM without irritation, and the migration of chlorine dioxide up your urethra is instantaneous, you would soak for 50 minutes to attain the CT of 5000.

I have heard of women with UTI and yeast infections having success with this, but I don't have any details on what concentrations and soak times they used.

I think we all understand that life is different "outside the petri dish," so it would probably take several soaks to achieve success.

Tom
