Hi,

Now my mom in her early 60's came down with the shingles up and down the inside of her arms.

Her doctor told her about a shot one can take to prevent the shingles.....but since she had already had the outbreak, she couldnt take it.....no stopping it once it has reared its ugle head.

She was told that anyone having chicken pox as a child should get this shot....she doesnt know what it was.....before they get the shingles, and they wont get it.

So I visited my local doctor, regarding my yearly women stuff, and asked her about this shot, as i had the chicken pox as a child for sure, and she said the exact oposite, it was her understanding, that this shot is taken when you have the shingles, and it will kick it back....one of these two doctors are misinformed, or they are both talking about two differant shots. I wonder.

I was part of a class, with the California health department in 1996, reguarding many subjects, very interesting studies....but they told us, regarding the herpes, that the virus "is" housed in the spinal column, the sexually transmitted one, is housed in the lower lumbar areas, and the cold sore on the face type is housed in the lower base vertibra of the neck.

I have heard many doctors claim, since then, this is not true, regarding the fact that this virus lives in the spinal column, but "I still think it is", and they are just misinformed.

I wish there were more doctors 100 years old, that have been keeping up with all the new too.............lol....wouldnt that be the guy to see....lol... Tweet
