You can get your levels checked by doing a simple saliva test at home, the kits are available on the internet, I bought mine from a compounding chemist in town. My progesterone was not even detectable and my estrogen was off the charts. The progesterone cream that I use is by prescription only and is called Pro-feme 3.2%. I'm in Australia so I don't know if you can get it elsewhere. It is a bio-identical progesterone cream, not progestin(hormone in mirena).
