Re: Leaky Gut, Candida,..my story..please help me.
Yes I can read now. My eyes used to dance round the page and the information just wouldn't stay in my head. I used to end up reading the same paragraph over and over. I have regained a lot of my cognitive function although I still have a bit way to go before I'm back to what I used to be (I'm a perfectionist).I still find that if I'm trying to talk to someone with very strong perfume, the brain fog descends again although never as bad as before I did the
Colon Cleanse and Master Cleanse.I agree with Zuuch that candida is linked to mercury toxicity and that you need to address that before the candida can be fully cured. I had a stool test done last October and the results showed that I need to detox amalgam. I have been on the anti-candida diet for nearly two years and if I eat fruit, it comes back!
If you have a leaky gut, I would suggest looking into food intolerance. I found I felt much better when I eliminated the foods that bothered me.
A big plus for me these days with clearer thinking is being able to see where the depressions came from. I have had psychotherapy for two years with no success and could never figure out why I couldn't just cheer up. I ended up thinking that it was probably because I had a bad attitude. Now I can see that it was all physical - candida, mercury toxicity, food and chemical sensitivities - all seriously affect your thoughts and moods.
Another supplement I take which helps is MSM. It reduces my allergy symptoms.
Best wishes,
