Diagnosis..

Rikkeo, what I was asking was how was this diagnosed. Did you have a type-specific culture done on it or maybe a PCR swab? If it was just a visual diagnosis, like, "That sure looks like herpes.", then it's not really a diagnosis, just a guess.
