I have had alot of trouble with candida...in the past. I am a green juicer. Sugars consist of low glycemic fruits ( cucumber,redpepper,tomatoes,lime,lemon etc.) I will do granny smith apples or grapefruit on a rare occasion. I took alot of caprylic acid for about 6 mos. I take alot of chlorella and spirilina I believe it helps me tremendously with cravings along with other health benifits. I think my Sugar cravings were due to my body needing protien that it could assimulate or something like that cause I had problems for years and nothing seemed to help the cravings. I would highly suggest not to do the Lemonade Diet if you suffer from candida...I know everyone is different but I believe it is one of the best things to feed the candida. You may feel good for the time you are drinking it but when you start eating again it would back fire...you wouldn't have gotten rid of the cravings at all. Edie
