Re: Successful in treating foliculitis - tea tree oil

e-dice. Your advice on how to treat this nasty condition is the first one to catch my eye and not scare me in a long time. I've pretty much given up on anything and have been waiting for some modern miracle breakthrough in a new type of anti-biotic that may or may not ever come to fruition. I'm going to give your way a try but first I want to know how you apply the tea oil, does it burn if you get to much, do you apply it once or twice a day. What kind of anti-bacterial soap do you use? Is it a shampoo or something you use in addition to shampoo and can it be used with a conditioner? I have so many sores on my head and neck that I'm rarely not bleeding somewhere or full of scabs and so I rarely get my hair cut. Being a woman the shaving thing men on this board do just doesn't work with my feminine side. Also, how long before you saw success? Maybe you've posted all this before and I wasn't ready to try. THanks.
