I looooove cocochia. It helped me rebuild a lot of energy when the Chronic-Fatigue-Syndrome hit like five years ago. I put it on oatmeal, salads (it rocks on salads, especially with dried cranberries), we even put it on fish a couple times. When I was tired, I'd go take a couple tablespoons and bam!...feel much better.
How long have you been on iodine? Perhaps you need to switch over to Trapper's SSKI for a bit. Your thyroid needs more KI than i2...perhaps a switch could do you some good for a while. You're not still on some flouride-donating drug or drinking tap water or something are you?
