I think the opthamologist may have been coming from the same angle that we get from MDs. Their training doesn't allow that many if not all conditions can be reversed. So their glasses are like the MDs pharmeceuticals.

I've worn glasses since age 12. Luckily they have pretty much stayed the same over the years, well at least till the PC came on the scene. LOL...what you say makes a lot of sense. I believe the turning inward can be a big factor no doubt.
