Re: becoming a warrior different for men and women

Hi - it is different for men and women. For instance if you are a woman, the first week is the detox week. There is a special book just for this purpose, it can be downloaded from the Warrior site. But no, you can not just eat whatever you want at dinner and fast all day. First week - (as with all overeating meals if you follow Warrior going forward) have to begin with a salad with a small bit of healthy oil and a bit of balsamic vinegar or lemon. Then wait 20 minutes. After the 20 minutes you can eat any veggie and then a non-wheat based card (brown rice, quino, etc) and a choice of beans (lentils, chick peas) - you have to have a 1:1 ratio of carb to protein and you can also add a little feta or hummous if you want. Also you need to eat during the day, just specific detox foods. Once the first three weeks are over - week two and three introduces meat based protein and raw nuts - dinner is based on what you want, of course trying to be as healthy as possible but indulge as you want. If you indulge too much you can always detox for a couple of days to make up for it. No drinking for the first three weeks, but after red wine and vodka are cool. Hope this helps!
