Re: How long does juice retain its nutritious value?
MichelleDB...You really should drink the juice immediately
if you can at all. It not only loses some of it's nutricious value..it also loses some of the taste. I know it's kind of a "pain"...but if
you will do it every day...and stay focused and just get it
done and clean up the mess...it doesn't take that long.
We have a big fat Champion juicer...it sits back in the corner
of our cabinets because of the long front "post" on it. But
I pull it out...wash my veggies, and can have my husband and
myself a big glass of carrot, spinach, beet, parsley and whatever
else...juice made..clean my mess up...and have it all behind us
in about 6 or 7 minutes.
It DOES take a little effort...but NOTHING compared to peeling
and frying potatoes (OH GADS!!!THAT MAKES ME WANT FRIED POTATOES)
fixing a meat and another veggie...and cleaning up all of that
mess. And it's so much better for you.
I "have" taken juice with me in a thermos before...when I just
couldn't be home to fix it. But as far as an everyday thing...
you will be much better off if you just make the time to make
it fresh. You WILL see a difference if you'll just stick to it.
Good luck! kathryn
