and as for the trees. wasn't it Jesus (and others) who said,
the fruit of the seed of the fruit (or some such:something like:
the tree of the fruit bearing seed), in other words, not man-cultivated, but self-renewing)

you can't plow the field when it comes to the orchard--can't 'hurry' it up, or get two crops for one growing season...
