Re: How will fasting affect family?
Well, surely you've read testimonials where people say, while fasting, they feel greater than they've ever felt. Use that as a placebo effect. Keep telling yourself how great you feel...even if you feel a little under the weather, turn that into a good mood by being happy that your bad mood is a result of detoxing...which is a good thing!
Keep reminding yourself of the good that is coming from this.
I think you'll be fine. Only you control your moods. I would try to NOT do it the last half of your mentrual cycle so that possible PMS symptoms don't get in the way.
I don't get terribly moody. I promise myself before every fast to put on my happy face and that works fine enough.
I have terrible PMS though. 1-2 weeks prior, I do a 180 flip and I'm the most terrible, moody person to be around. I can't control it very well so that's why I say stay away from that time of month. If I had PMS while fasting, I'd be a complete monster.
