I'm sure that frozen wheat grass added to smoothies would have some nutritional benefit - certainly better than not using any at all - however, when it is frozen all of the live enzymes are dead, along with alot of the delicate vitamins and amino acids. If you watch e-bay and some of the other classified ads such as KSL.com - quite often you can find a hand-crank wheat grass juicer at a really good price - $20 or $30.00.

I know what it's like to start waking up to good health and have to start stocking up on distillers, juicers, dehydrators, sprouting trays, etc. You're on the right track - good luck on your journey, Dr Mom
