Re: Why Is My Son Too Alkaline?

The naturopath seemed to make a big deal out of it but im not totally worried about him being too alkaline because it's usually the opposite way people struggle with. He was not always healthy and has had some issues. A week after he was born he was covered in eczema from head to toe and I was breastafeeding. No one ever suggested it might be my diet. I breastfed for three months. The sad part is....when he went on the bottle his skin got better. He still has mild eczema and his skin gets dry quickly! He also has some allergy issues and had alot of issues with constipation. He's taking Miralax right now until we get this worked out. It became a behavior thing with him holding his stool even though it was not a hard stool! Something I hope he outgrows but it's due to his past experience with chronic constipation.

I have removed all dairy from his diet, try to limit meats to only fish or chicken, he gets fresh fruit and I try to give him more veggies. Im working on getting him on more RAW foods. He will eat lots of raw fruits but not many raw veggies. Any ideas? What we want to work on now is his allergies and get him off this miralax!
