i have had similar experiences in the past.
you are the only one who can tell if they are dreams or not.
for me, i had interactions that were real, that have lead me into having very similar dreams. The paralysis that you describe is linked to your fear in both cases,in your dreams and in reality.
The first time that i was contacted, i was so afraid i went wild with my thoughts.
i am not a violent person, but the only thing i wanted to do was to destroy whatever it was that was keeping me.i was not supposed to be awake.
As soon as my mind went violent they put me immediately to sleep, the funny part about that is, it was my own voice in my head that said how wonderful it would feel to fall asleep.
The buzzing sound you describe, i think is either them communicating with each other
or some type of technology somehow linked to the paralysis. it sounded more like static to me, and is usually accompanied by a floating blue light.
my theory on your experience is that there is some type of message that will be conveyed to you if you meet you visitor without fear. the corny part.....love and compassion for all life may be what you need in those moments.
however please keep in mind that this is all just my opinion.
Your experience sounds to me like the friendly kind, otherwise i am not sure that you would have been allowed to see the man in front of you.
