Re: Buying a Juicer

Hi - this was meant to be specifically to Bob - but no email adress, so i guess this is a general request for info - would very much appreciate any replies.
Work in medical profession as and lately been getting into complementary therapies and nutrition, etc. Just ordered Jack Lalanne's powerjuicer yesterday, but may cancel that after reading some stuff by you guys (- no one mentioned it!). Live in N.Ireland - thinking about spending up to 160 pounds ( what is that - approx 220 dollars?) What should i go for?

Greenlife (is this the same as greenstar?)
Omega? Acme? Champion?

Some of these may be beyond my price range. Which would you suggest? and how slow is a champion - say for juicing an apple.
I would be looking to do mainly vegetables and fruit.
(Dont know too much about wheatgrass!)

And - on a completely unrelated topic - (and from this you'll be able to tell I'm a net virgin) - but ebay is only a bid-and-buy place, right? Are the products all new? Is it risky to buy there? And - the books seem really cheap - are they new or secondhand?

Long mail - I know - thank you kindly anyone who responds.
Jenxx.
