It should initially float and then slowly submerge and break up easily as soon as you flush. If it stays afloat there is too much fat in it...your liver needs some work. If it sinks like a rock then it is too compact...one sign of dehydration. And if it doesn't break up when the water is agitated there is too much gluey mucous in it...watch your diet, increase fiber and use probiotics.
