I'd still use it as a last resort for very short term, even high dose use if necessary, only longer term overuse could cause oxidative stress and therefore aging effects IMO but infections can do more damage. If I had lyme for example I'd seriously consider it for use in a similar way as malaria, and if this is repeated and used as part of a immune building protocol it may keep lyme from progressing at least, with no lasting detrimental effects. So in future it may become more clear what it can be used for succesfully. I don't know if Iodine or KI can replace it
for everything but Iodine can't be left out and is my first choice.
