Re: PACE exercise program

What about someone like me. I have high blood pressure, but conversely I have a low heart rate like in the 50's or low sixties. I can bring it up by eating white potatoes, among other high glycemic foods, but I don't try. It is okay low. The thing is when I can do something to bring it up into the seventies my blood pressure gets better. Which organ is malfinctioning when you have Hypertention with a low heart rate. Anyone know? I've been athletic but that has been a few years and I don't think that is it now. I take clonodine for my HBP. It doesn't seem to effect my heart rate. It isn't a heart drug per se but that is the most common use.
