I have been taking the P&B shakes one hour before or two hours after a meal. I take many vitamins especially in the morning, and don't want them absorbed by the shake. I would say that when using the Paragone, you may want to take that before the P&B to be sure it gets into your system.
Also, my understanding of PTree's reccomendation on psyllium vs. flax is that psyllium is better at
"sweeping" out the junk form the intestine wall. Hopefully she will clarify more for you, though!
