Good insight, Tony. Sounds kinda' along the same lines as homeos (the 3x vs 30x. etc.) I'm sure I read all this before, but the added protein in the higher ppm allows one to use it topically (or in ears, etc.) I don't see a huge problem with this. But just recently started drinking the strong stuff.

What you just explained helps me understand now why it is that when I make my own and let the unit run too long (overnight, etc.) I'll see this residue at the bottom. (Black/silver/grey/white) Newport once said - think of it as the worm in a bottle of tequila. So I thought - bottoms up!

Bad idea to drink that residue?

I must be a total fool. In truth, I rarely if ever drink it all the way down to that residue. Use Mason jars to make the brew and pour as needed into old (cleaned) little Perrier bottles.

I'll look at your link, but have you explained exactly what the harm could be in using high ppm? They recommend diluting in distilled or r/o water anyway. Lately I'm drinking it straight, and it seems to be helping.
