Why don't you call the Librarian by his real name, he is not a part of God or the Bad side of Gods character, he is the being Satan who rebelled against God in the primeval primordial past. Just like us God gave him a free will and he misused it.

He is unimaginable intelligent and sly, his main weapon is not the lie but deception, you can ooze love and compassion , like a honey trap for the unwise.
