Ah, I love good vegetable soups, especially now that winter is here. The wind is blowing and it's snowing, and it's delightfully cold, and the outdoor Christmas lights look frosty. Good hot soup is a must. I'm going shopping Wednesday, and will get some buttermilk. I'm going to give it my best try.
How do I take the pinch of epsom salts? In water, or sprinkle it on my broccoli, or just toss it down? Now that I think about it, that would absolutely ruin good broccoli...Maybe I'll put it in the already dreaded buttermilk! That ought to really be an incentive to drink that stuff! Oh barf! One more day of freedom!
