The EMX worked beyond my expectations but the PERL was now moved up the ranks as a primary Lyme machine and I wanted it to allow me more flexibility in movement, works up to 20 feet from unit. A bonus is that there are plenty of used PERLS and EPFX on the market now at a fraction of the original cost:

EDIT
I should add that the DNA frqs are accurate to 100th of a hz and the EMX is only accurate to a 10th of a hz. So I have been using very high octaves or normal frqs with converge. This is no longer needed with the accuracy of the PERL.
