I am very interested in learning of the ORP effect on water. I wish you had an ORP meter and you could have measured the ORP values of water before and after the 27 minute cycle.

ORP or Redox Potential is a measure of whether something is Oxidizing or Reducing. H2 is the lightest element and H atoms with one electron is the strongest anti-oxidant. Hence in case of Water Ionizers, the side which produces H2 becomes anti-oxidant water with -ve ORP.
Unfortunately, H2 gas does not dissolve in water and will evaporate, and water loses its anti-oxidant values.

Althoug water Ionizers took over the market in Japan, Japanese scientist came up with other things like "hydrogen stick" and "hydrogen rich water H4O, as a "alternative" to expensive water Ionizers.

ORP is a very scientific term, which cannot be ignored and gives us an idea of how oxidizing or reducing our water is. Some naturally occuring miracle healing waters have actually to been found to be H2 rich. So H2 rich water does occur in nature, but its not very common.
