Easiest thing to use is a strap on terminator type zapper.
I have a silverado version which you can leave on continuously and it hasn't burnt me whereas the copper ones might. It leaves black marks though which wear off slowly.

I got a three freq one off ebay too and it works well, slight drawback is mine only has a combined socket for both electrodes but the other one mentioned looks good.

Getting footplates is a good idea if you are wanting the best effect otherwise just wearing one takes longer to give benefit. You can wear the silver ones day and night(well I did) though and I use rechargeable 9v batteries which need to be changed often but save money
