Re: Lugol's for Ear Problems?

My tinnitus began 4 1/2 years ago after I took Antibiotics for an extended period of time. As it turned out, an improperly placed root canal became septic and was leaking infection into my bloodstream, resulting in flu-like symptoms and an elevated WBC. About 4 weeks into the Antibiotics tinnitus began. Two weeks later I developed a clostridium difficile infection and was hospitalized.

I have had the tinnitus and other symptoms ever since. In addition, I have become about 30 pounds overweight, developed dry skin, anxiety, and extreme fatigue. These symptoms are consistent with hypothyroidism (as is the tinnitus) which is another reason I am interested in Lugol's Iodine as it can also help treat this condition.

I also have a "crossbite" which may be a contributing factor to the tinnitus (tmj?) but I made it to 47 without this having caused any problems.

I have tried the same remdedies that you have in addition to others but nothing has helped very much. I am not diabetic or pre-diabetic (my blood Sugar is fine) but I do have some fairly troublesome allergies.

Finally, I can really relate to what you said about hearing (I call it the "huh?" factor). It's so annoying to have to ask people to repeat what they have said. People are constantly telling me I should have my ears cleaned out. If only I could achieve exactly that I'd be happy!!! Tweet
