Actually, the psyllium husks contain a substance called phytic acid that binds in the intestines with minerals, especially zinc.

Cleansing with this product is good and healthy, but long term use can contribute to mineral deficiencies.

You may want to take your supplement an hour or more before you shake, or two or more hours after you shake.

Just a thought...
