It's only theory.
In reality, you need to first look, HOW big amount it actualy bind, to cause any problems.
Psyillium, you don't use in large quantities, maybe 10 grams per day, maybe 15 grams. The problem with phytic acid is in main foods, which you eat in lot quantities.

Now look at this article
http://discourse.soylent.me/t/phytic-acid-not-enough-of-it-to-be-an-issue/4256

You will see, that a number of minerals, phytic acid can actualy bind, is not so great.
For me, that means, that when you add 10 grams of psyllium daily to your meals, it will still have more benefits, than negatives. For example, it will cause you to absorb 10% less zinc, but if you add these minerals as suplements in large quantities, it does simply nothing. But benefit of psyllium will be more probiotics in bowels, and better movement and cleaning power in bowels.

For me, I think 10 grams of psyllium daily, will not cause any problems, and have still possitive effect on health.
Adding 30 grams of psyllium or more, can really cause a problem tho. But if you suplement your minerals, which is adviced too for prevention, I don't think phytic acid will cause any problem.
