Liver cleansing while in starvation mode...

I am going to want to start doing the Liver Cleanses relatively soon (after I work through my bowel and parasite problems). However, since my body is in severe starvation mode, it seems to not use any fat that I put in it, but rather just stores it.

Does this mean that it will not use the olive oil in the liver cleanse the way that is needed to get the job done? Will I still be able to effectively cleanse my liver even though my body doesn't know how to use fat anymore?

Also, since it is often quite uncomfortable for me to consume so much fat at one time (since it get's stored so quickly) would it take away from the cleanse if I cut down the dosage of olive oil and grapefruit juice in half with each cleanse???
