Hi - There are many facets to sleep problems. First thing to look at are emotional issues. Is there anything you need to deal with? Anxiety, anger, stress... These things can keep you awake. It's not good to drug yourself over long term - better to deal with the root cause of insomnia. Personally I pray before I sleep - and as the scriptures say - I cast my cares upon the Lord because He cares for me. I try to read the bible before bed as it calms me.
I currently have some sleep disorders (including apnea) and I take about 2000 mg GABA before bed. Only the Solgar works for me - others seem to stimulate me. I also use benedryl - 1/2 to 1 tablet at bedtime. Any more and I am sluggish and drowsy in the morning. These can help on a temporary basis for sleep issues.
I also believe in cleansing - I used
Oxypowder for colon cleansing very successfully, did multiple liver flushes,
parasite cleansing, etc.
Try to take time before bed to unwind. Write down what's on your mind if you need to, do things that bring you peace. Avoid chocolate, coffee, tea, etc. in the evening. How's your diet? Is it possible you are eating too much sugar, refined carbs, etc? Yeast imbalance in the gut can create insomnia.
