Dorn, emotions

Hi Thomas

I am at the moment in a 2 year course in Massage Therapy, where I have been confronted with a lot of tensions all around my body.
This therapy works a lot with going into the tensions all around the body with a hand (another person does it on you) and at the same time letting the person who is in therapy breath deep to release these tensions.
I have thru excercises (yoga and other) found out that some part of my back pain has to do that my psoas muscle is very contracted and the muscles on the back of my legs are to short, or so it seems :)..
When going into the muscle and asking the person in therapy breathing releasing thru the brath, they sometimes burst out in tears, it release the tensions all around the body, but ofcause it builds up to a certain extend again.
Quistions:
1) Does the Dorn therapy consider emotions in the healing process, and have you seen an emotional change in the patient.
2) Lets take the psoas as an example as one of the problems I face (controled thru the kidney- energy =Fear (in this system)), could Dorn therapy help relax that muscle, or ?
kind regards
Thomas
