belly button itch

the belly button itch concerns me

i periodically have to dig out a little waxy plug and thought it might be a good idea to sanitize the area

so i put about 4 drops of iodine in the whole and layed there letting it soak in

soak in it did

i could feel it worming it's way down into my stomach

it didn't hurt, but the sensation made me a little nervous because it was totally experimental and i didn't know what was going to happen

after a few minutes the iodine started to burn, so i dabbed it out and washed

next day the whole area was burned and red

i haven't done it again because of that, but i have considered it

if my button was itching, I'd probably put some 2% in it next time

maybe even dilute that with an equal part of distilled water
