I have suffered from insomnia (and have been a very light sleeper when I do sleep) for years. I have discovered two things that have worked wonders for me (Thanks to Dr. Clark!). The first thing I tried was the Ornithine (an amino acid) that she recommends you take with the liver cleanse. I was taking about 4-6 of them a night and sleeping like the dead! And I would wake up perky (unlike the wicked hangover you get with Tylenol PM and Excedrine PM and Nyquil). When I ran out of Ornithine, I read that Inositol (another amino acid) can help with insomnia, too. I had bought a bottle to help with weight loss (never really tried it) so I started using that. I found that by opening two capsules and putting the powder right in my mouth to disolve (don't worry, it tastes sweet and good!) it gave me a deep, yummy sleep all through the night! I actually now prefer it to the Ornithine because I get better sleep with taking fewer capsules.
