Is anxiety in anyway related to poor liver function??

I was just wandering if anxiety has anything to do with poor liver function?? I have heard that depression most often is caused by poor liver health, and many emotional discomforts are a direct result of liver malfunction. Is this true?? If it is true then can anxiety also be related to liver congestion?? Tweet
