successful enema

just done my first enema. my last weeks one wasnt successful, (I Posted here because the enema leaked, thankyou for all your wise words.
this time I hung the bag higher, then laid on my left side, initially no water came out, i thought here we go again, but i pulled the nozzle out slightly and away it went. I got a bit scared 1/4 of the way through my 2 litre enema and stopped because I am on with menstrual cramps and dont know if you can do enemas with time of month. any way although I only did 1/2 a litre quite alot of stuff came out.
I am going to book a colonic for next week.
how often can I do colonics when detoxing, and can colonics work the same as dr shultze bowel cleanse?
