Thank you for that. Your post was awesome and is exactly where I am too. The scripture speaks louder to me than the professionals who tell me that I should not fast. I am someone who has been very hurt by doctors in the past so I have no faith in them anymore. I have also gone to several different professionals for help with my eating disorder. None of them were any help to me. I am saddened by the tone this forum has recently taken to discourage people like me from fasting. I am not discouraged or confused by it as I still know it is the right thing for me to do. It may really be a good thing for me anyway as now I will not depend on this forum for support. I will need to totally look to God and I believe that is what He wants me to do anyway. Thank you for your awesome post. It was encouraging and we are to encourage one another.
