I disagree
I respectfully disagree - though it is a great premise for a book: Unlike what everyone else has ever said, cancer is not a disease, it is a healing mechanism which must be helped with the cleanses in my book.
Cancer may start off as a kind of survival mechanism - call it healing if you want - but it ends up being a rampant disease that must have both the symptoms (the cancer growth itself) and the root causes eliminated in order for the entire organism to survive.
First of all, though cancer could be looked at as a mutative survival mechanism for cells at the point of an irritation and inflammation caused by a toxin of one sort or another, if it is a survival mechanism for the entire body then one has to wonder why it is so unsuccesful the vast, vast majority of the time?
Secondly, blocking the growth of the cancer is an integal part of beating cancer regardless of what Moritz posits. It is true that the root causes of cancer must be addressed and the body cleansed of toxins. But part of the process should also include blocking the growth of the cancer itself and then eliminating it., because you can nourishe the rest of the body back to health all you want, but it that does not result in halting the relentless doubling rate of the cancer growth death will surely be the result.
One does not beat cancer by working with it's growth, one beats it by stopping such growth AND eliminating the root causes that enabled cancer to gain a foothold in the first place.
Without actually having read the book, it sounds like yet another in a long line of books which claim to have discovered a unique feature of what cancer is and how it is caused - flukes, fungus, virus, toxins, myco-toxins, lack of oxygen/pH, you name it - and I have not seen anything that convinces me that any of them are valid. But they surely do sell lots of books tying to convince us.
