hello Archus I hope things are well with you.Yes I keep the base out in the garage during the warmer months do to the noise generated by the blender.I always took the pics. in the kitchen,the bases by vitamix all look the same.You can look at there entire line at everythingkitchens.com thats where I purchased mine at.I do get my seeds at nutsonline.com but those seeds are large and take more time than the baby black oil seeds that are commonly sprouted for greens.The baby black oil sunflowers have a quick turnover and shed there hulls alot easier than the ones I use.The large seeds give a much greater harvest but are a bit more difficult at first.How are things out on the east coast?Things are wet and chilly here in the mid west.Jeff.
