yes a commercial grade blender will do lots of food prep for the raw food lifestyle.I have a vita prep 3 and love the power and versatility of the blender. The cost of a good blender is 300-700 dollars, but a 2+peak hp blender will do a lot and cost considerably less.I have pictures of my vita prep 3 in the Image Gallery in the photos section under grassmans sprouts.I have pics. of blending grass juice which is hard on a blender and I would have never tried doing grass juice with my old vitamix5000 but the vita prep 3 handled it well. You can get bulk raw nuts at nutsite.com and nutsonline.com and you might want to get some dates to sweeten things up in the milks.nutsite, com has a fresh crop of dates I just picked up 30lbs. myself they have great dates at a very good price.Happy blending.Jeff
