Re: Conservation is Conserving not Consuming.

The current economic model is a pyramid scheme based on an every growing Population which feeds an ever growing economy.

A pyramid scheme is when the people at the bottom are not being paid for the work they do in order to recruit people to work under them.  An example would be those health drink and herbal supplement companies.

Nothing is being conserved.  Everything is being consumed.  The air, water, land, trees, minerals, oil, coal, oceans, all is being used up.

In order to survive a society must employ systems of conservation.  Ownership principles enable us to grow food and trees.  Technology is not the problem.  Technology is the solution and the private sector in America is on the cutting edge of technology.  We will find alternative sources of energy.  It is only a matter of time but now is not the time for it.  Maybe in 30 to 50 years.  How do you use up water?  Technology has allowed me to filter and vitalize the water I drink.

No economic system can be valid which operates on a false premise of endless expansion and infinite resources. The economic system is the political system.

With technology constantly evoloving, you can't say this for sure.  When government takes away the wealth of the private sector, this will inhibit their ability to find solutions.

Technology is leading us towards an unsustainable reality which will eventually collapse.

Have you heard about the report about the guy who discovered that beetles produced petroleum from wood chips?  The government didn't discover it.

Without economic equality you have slavery to one degree or another. You can try to assuage your guilt with complex arguments but it is slavery. Capitalism embraces slavery. Yet the capitalist always seems to have a guilt complex.

That is about as far out in left field as any comment I have ever read.  You are obviously not a happy person.  Judging by your post, you would think that everyone in a capitalistic system are miserable people.
