Humaworm advises people to stop taking anti-parasiticals for six months if they become resistant. Apparently if you do this, they become un-resistant and will work again.
I don't worry too much about resistance. If something doesn't seem to be working, I just try something else. Fortunately, there are plenty of products that work. Rotation seems to help a lot. I've gotten results with Clarkia, Bloodroot, Clear, Red Clover Stillingia, Oregano Oil, Diatomaceous Earth, Iodine, Bing Lang and there are dozens of things that I haven't tried yet. Seems highly unlikely that they would become resistant to Cayenne. But if it happens, you will know it, and it will be time to switch to something else.
